Thanks for using Texporter. Since you're using Texporter, you're involved with texturing stuff and you probably paint your textures by hand: I know that it is a time consuming and tedious job. Unfortunately this is the only way to paint color, shininess, specularity, bump and other maps that should follow and match the geometry exactly, this is the only way to apply the "look" you want to the object: make it more realistic.
But there are some textures and effects that can be generated automatically: the ones that follow the rules of the nature. Aging effects like dust, rust, mould etc. can be generated automatically and in interactive rates with my QuickDirt plug-in.
