I am an architecture student and I were there too know if exists a version compatible of Mathmax for 3DStudio 5.

Sorry for the late reply,

No there's no max4 or max5 version of MathMax. If you need objects defined in z=f(x,y) form, you can use the scripted object Object-MathObject.ms which comes with 3ds max.

I still have plans to port MathMax to max4, 5 and 6 but that'll require some amount of time... I hope I can find that spare time soon

This object is ministerial to my study on architecture. Surface is difficulties to check in the graphic computer.
