I am having a difficulty texturing a model (half a giraf)
I've applied an edit mesh modifier to arrange the faces to accomodate
a planar mapping, then applied a uvw map, then I used texporter to generate a template, saved that template (gir_tex) and applied it to the diffuse channel of the model material.
As you can see- it sits correctly on the giraf parts in the edit mesh stage (gir_tex01), BUT as I add an unwrap modifier, and turn the edit mesh toggle unactive- I can no longer see the texture coordinates on the giraf object (gir_tex02)
I did preserve the mapping coordinates after I used texporter,
and used them for rendering!
Why can't I see the texturing coordinates that I've put on the giraf
Please help, I've had the same problem before with a bear object
and haven't found a solution yet...
